Platoon is a side-scrolling shooter game developed by Ocean Software and released for the NES in 1988. The game is based on the 1986 film of the same name and puts the player in the role of a soldier fighting in the Vietnam War. The game features a variety of weapons and power-ups, as well as a two-player mode.
