Xexex, pronounced 'zeks-zeks,' is a 1991 side-scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game by Konami. It draws inspiration from R-Type and Gradius, adding tentacle mechanics. Players control the Flintlock ship, which has both a zapper for flying enemies and a blaster for ground installations. The game features stunning visuals, unique themes for each stage, and a memorable soundtrack.
